MapInfo: An Interactive Map Browser

University of British Columbia - Campus Map

There should be an interactive map of the UBC campus below if your browser supports Sun's Java language. An example of such a browser is Netscape Navigator 2.0 for 32-bit Windows (Windows 95, Windows NT) and most flavors of Unix.

You can use this map to get detailed information about buildings and locations on the UBC campus, search for locations by name, or navigate through UBC's many World Wide Web servers geographically.

Eventually you should be able to let the map find shortest routes for you, load detailed maps of selected regions or locations, and link to similar maps of other locations,

Some documentation

Please let me know if you find this useful, or if you have suggestions for how the software can be improved. I'd also be very happy to hear reports about errors or inconsistencies in the information this map presents! You can e-mail me at djun@math.ubc.ca.

This map is based on a map prepared by UBC's Campus Planning and Development department. I'm grateful for their permission to use this image.
